Limited Edition Zildjian Project 391 Cymbals are crafted from B15 alloy (85 copper 15 tin), which produce a consistent and cutting sound. Both visually and sonically pleasing, the two-step lathing process imparts a unique surface finish for this Limited Edition 8” Splash Cymbal.

Zildjian are always looking to develop new sounds and work with new alloys. The 85% copper 15% tin alloy, together with a two-step lathing process, allowed Zildjian to create a new frequency range for the Limited Edition Project 391 Cymbals that is different from that of the ZBT, ZHT and Secret Alloy ranges, further filling Zildjian’s sound palette.

The lathing process for the Limited Edition Project 391 range is similar to that of the A Custom range, which is then polished and re-lathed on the bottom and top to provide the smooth glossy sound of a brilliant finish cymbal, with the bite and cut of a regular finish.
