The Takamine GC-6CE-NAT electro-acoustic nylon-string guitar has a solid spruce top with walnut back and sides that create a well-balanced tone and bell-like ring. The GC6CE has an oval-shaped soundhole that sculpts the airwaves as they leave the body, and for plugged-in performances, Takamine electronics reproduce the natural acoustic character of the instrument.

An under-saddle pickup employs a proprietary Takamine design, which passes an incredibly open and natural tone. The onboard preamp offers a 3-band equalizer and an onboard tuner with the ability to calibrate its frequency. These electronics make a potent pair that will sound great at any gig.

Takamine chose to use black walnut for the back and sides of the GC-6CE. This tonewood is known for its balanced resonance and bell-like quality.
