Our Shure UHF-R 4-channel wireless string quartet mic systems are supplied with high-quality and discreet DPA 4099 instrument microphones with specialised clips for stringed instruments.

Rock-solid engineering, the latest technology, and unparalleled RF performance provide sound professionals with all the features and flexibility they need to tightly control up to 108 systems for the most elaborate productions.

Weighing only 62g without batteries, the Shure UR1M Micro-Bodypack Transmitter is the most compact bodypack available from Shure.  It works with headworn, lavalier, and instrument microphones and cables. Its removable antenna provides additional flexibility, and a threaded connector securely locks microphone or instrument cables. Other advanced features include a multi-function bit-mapped LCD, frequency and power lockout and infrared automatic transmitter sync. The UR1M can be used continuously for up to 9 hours using 3 x AAA  lithium batteries.

Our Shure UHF-R systems are in Band K4E, covering the frequency range 606 – 666 MHz (Channels 38 – 45) and can operate on up to 10 simultaneous frequencies in Channel 38 without intermodulation. Additional systems may require a Fixed Site License which can be obtained from OFCOM.
