Prop upright piano shell

£20.00 plus VAT per day

Perfect for theatrical performances where a modern digital piano would look out of place, this is not a perfect replica of a piano but looks good under theatrical lighting. The shell itself is light enough to be humped upstairs by 2 fit bodies, which makes it a good proposition for Fringe shows where storage, tuning and access issues often make the use of an acoustic piano unrealistic. The opening is restricted but is ideal for a Fatar SL-880 MIDI master keyboard.

The opening is restricted but is ideal for a Fatar SL-880 MIDI master keyboard (see our package with Fatar SL880 and Kurzweil KMP-1 piano module) and some 76-note keyboards will fit. We can also quote to install a couple of small speakers internally if you need the sound to come from the piano. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

The image shows the piano in use by the award-winning Choir of Man at Assembly Theatre during Fringe 2017.
