This is not a perfect replica of a piano but looks good under theatrical lighting…

The image shows the piano in use by the award-winning Choir of Man at Assembly Theatre during Fringe 2017.

The shell itself is light enough to be humped upstairs by 2 fit bodies, which makes it a good proposition for Fringe shows where storage, tuning and access issues often make the use of an acoustic piano unrealistic. The Fatar keyboard and Kurzweil piano module are both fitted into the shell after delivery, and are wired together internally, along with a sustain pedal. A single power cable and a pair of jack signal cables are run out from the piano shell.

The piano needs to be amplified externally – but we could quote to install a couple of small speakers internally if you need the sound to come from the piano. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
