The d&b E12-SUB is a compact but powerful bass-reflex design employing a long excursion 12″ driver. The large, specially shaped reflex port enables the d&b E12-SUB to achieve high sound pressure levels with minimal power compression and breathing effects.

The cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact resistant paint finish, a steel handle in one side, and an M20 threaded flange on the top to accept a loudspeaker stand. Designed to be actively driven by the d&b E-Pac or d&b D6 power amplifier controller, the d&b E12-SUB covers the 50 Hz to 120 Hz frequency band. It has an extraordinarily high output capability for a cabinet of its size – sufficient for use with up to four d&b E3 cabinets. It is ideal for permanent or mobile use in small and medium size venues or where space is restricted.

The d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker range is designed exclusively for operation with d&b amplifiers. These provide power as well as comprehensive control and protection functions tailored to achieve the performance, reliability and longevity associated with the d&b System approach. The E12-SUB can be driven by either the d&b D6 or D12 amplifiers, with the appropriate loudspeaker configuration selected.
