The C690 with its 90° x 50° CD horn is a version of the C6 that can be used for applications where wider horizontal coverage is required. The angled rear side panels of the cabinet allow C690 cabinets to be simply placed side by side forming a powerful array with accurate 90° horizontal coverage per loudspeaker. The C690 cabinet is constructed from marine plywood, has an impact resistant paint finish, steel handle plates on the top and bottom, each with four M10 threaded inserts, and on the bottom a socket to accept a loudspeaker stand.

The d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker range is designed exclusively for operation with d&b amplifiers. These provide power as well as comprehensive control and protection functions tailored to achieve the performance, reliability and longevity associated with the d&b System approach. The C690 can be driven by either the d&b P1200A, D6 or D12 amplifiers, with the appropriate loudspeaker configuration selected.
