Radio frequency licensing information
Our radio microphones can be set to use the new Shared Frequency band Channel 38 at no cost to the hirer (please see below).
A Fixed Site License may be required where multiple wireless systems are used simultaneously, or in areas of heavy radio frequency usage such as festivals, etc. Please contact us with the dates and times of use, exact location including postcode and details of any other UHF wireless systems being used within range. We can then formulate a Frequency Plan and advise which frequencies should be licensed from JFMG.
Shared (channel 38) UHF radio frequencies
We can transfer a license to use Shared UHF Frequencies in Channel 38 free of charge to our clients.
Our Sennheiser EW500 G4 wireless UHF systems can operate on up to 12 simultaneous frequencies in Channel 38 without intermodulation. Additional systems may require a Fixed Site License which can be obtained from JFMG.
